Product Description

Manual hydraulic breakout tongs are small hydraulic pump devices that convert manual mechanical energy into hydraulic pressure energy. Working together with oil cylinders and other specialized tools, they are versatile for bending, straightening, shearing, assembling, dismantling, and various construction applications.

Operation Guide

Install the pressure gauge and fill the device with hydraulic oil.

Connect the pump and cylinder (Note: do not connect to the tongs directly first). Cycle the cylinder to bleed air until it operates constantly.

Connect the tongs to the cylinder.

Ready for operation (Note: verify tong direction; the opposite direction is for tightening).

Safety Precautions

• Pressure must not exceed 70MPA; do not adjust high/low pressure valves arbitrarily.

• Operate the handle smoothly and pressurize slowly to extend service life.

• Twist the handle slowly during decompression to prevent excessive release.

• If oil is low, refill only after unloading pressure to prevent injury or equipment damage.

• Only commence work after confirming all connections are correct.

• Conduct a 90Mpa compression test on high-pressure hoses every 6 months to check for aging.

• Immediately stop using any hose that is leaking or shows signs of bulging.
